Josh’s Answer

There are colleges that have various majors available to someone wanting to work in wildlife conservation. Some of those majors are, Wildlife Resource Management, Natural Resource Management, Forestry Management, and Fish-Aquaculture degrees. Hocking College in Ohio and Hawkeye Community College in Iowa are programs I am familiar with and it will lead you to a career in this area. This is very rewarding career that can allow you to do something everyday that you love and that makes a difference now and for future generations.
Thank you comment icon Hey -- at the root of it, the ecosystem is all about biology, so you cannot go wrong with a BS in biology! But there are many specialized majors too, as Josh points out. Poke around the website of SUNY School of Environmental Science and Forestry https://www.esf.edu/admissions/programs.htm to see some possibilities! Desiree Giler Mann
