Is there any way for me to both be a realtor and be an interior designer?

Those sound like jobs that complement each other very well! For one, both are commonly done on a freelance basis, which means you can be flexible with your scheduling between the two roles.
It's also a great combination because you can use your design skills to be a better real estate agent. You can help sellers stage their homes to look great to potential buyers and help potential buyers envision all of the possibilities for a space. Your real estate customers may be so impressed with your design skills that they hire you as a designer.

Hello Mary,
I know many people who are realtors while having another career. It can certainly be more challenging because as a realtor your customers expect you to be available to them when they have questions and/or want to look at homes (or show their own, if they're selling). Many customers would prefer to look at homes in the evening or on the weekends around their own work schedules, so this part works well as a second job. However, the actual meeting where the sales are completed (often called a "closing") occurs during the day during regular business hours. This can be an additional challenge. If there is flexibility in your other job (in this case interior design), you can likely find a balance that works well with these two jobs.
