Hi Laci,
Those are great interests and goals! Here are some follow-up questions to think about. What is your intended age population (children, adolescents, adults, etc.)? Where are you interested in teaching? Do you have a specific country in mind? Do you speak another language and would like to teach students that speak the same language as you? Once you clarify your goals, you can plan your steps accordingly. For example, you can research the age group and/or place where you would like to teach. This will provide great developmental, social, and cultural insights to your intended population. Next, you can research some volunteer or internship opportunities to gain practical experience working with students.
Since you are a current high school student, I would encourage you to discuss your goals with your teachers. They may provide valuable insight into their educational and professional background that can assist you with your goals. Looking ahead, you can research some colleges that provide opportunities that align with your interests. For example, you may look at colleges that have great education programs or have opportunities to study or teach abroad.
I hope this helps, and best of luck!

This is what my nephew did... it might work for you. He got a 4 yr BS degree in his chosen subject "business". But knew he would need a masters degree to be really marketable. He wrote to foreign universities and made a deal with one in Spain. He would teach english classes and an American Culture course in return he could take an equal number of Masters in Business classes. He charged nothing and paid nothing. He lived and studied on campus in Spain for 2 yrs. Got his extra degree and out of school with no additional debt. Try smaller less well known universities to increase your chances.

Hi Laci,
I would offer one thing - practice the skills that you think will benefit your career. If you want to be a teach, teach people. Be a tutor to peers who need support in some subjects. Volunteer with local charities where you can lead teams in activities or talk with different kinds of people than you normally speak to.

Hi Laci,
It's really great to be a teacher. It will provide you the opportunity to interact with different people and extend your network to a large extent. Also, you will get a chance to learn more and more about your favorite subject.
To start your career as a teacher in aboard you have to be sure of the below-mentioned points -
1. Which subject you want to teach - Better to choose your most favorite subject as your career, as you may need to live with it for the rest of your life.
2. Check the demand for that subject in the country you are interested to settle.
3. Choose the target audience or age group of students, you want to cater to.
4. Study the law and culture of those countries and the process of applying as a teacher in that country.
Many Thanks,
Moumita
