What are the best prerequisites to get get done for paleontology

You are a man after my own heart! I’ve always loved studying dinosaurs, and thought about becoming a paleontologist myself for a while. The quick answer to your question is: math and science.
However, we can definitely be more thorough than that. Sciences like geology, anatomy, biology, and other life sciences will all come into play in paleontology. You’ll need to be able to collect and analyze data, so be sure you’re comfortable with statistics. In addition to those obvious math and science courses, though, remember that you’ll have to communicate your findings regularly, so having strong English skills (especially in writing and speaking) are important too.
