Hi
I love Gallup. I used to live in New Mexico. Have you ever worked or volunteered for a veterinarian or an animal shelter? Your actual work/shadowing experience will tell you all you need to know before committing to the career for school.

This question/inquiry has many different facets and curves. A straight answer is dance is a spirit and drive focus. A school helps to fine tune skills and possibilities of direction. Practice and engaging in various dance activities may hold your interest in dance as you sort out how far and what direction you would like to take dancing in your life.
The long search and answer is delving into why you like dance, what type of dancing do you most like, what career/lifelong aspirations do you have about dance and what other motivations do you have for dance.

I would look for a school in a city where you can either work part time as a dance teacher, and/or perform in small venues so that you can get as much practice as possible while you are studying and learning.
