Hi there! What we call druggist & chemist in India is actually a 'Pharmacist'. :)
So, to become a Pharmacist, you need to study Pharmacy. After senior secondary, you need to look for courses like D. Pharm(diploma)/B. Pharm(bachelor). And further you can go on to do M. Pharm or even Phd in pharmacy. There are many good career opportunities in this field like starting your own pharmacy(after obtaining a drug license), working as a M.R.(Medical Representative), in drug manufacturing companies, in pharmaceutical R&D, in Colleges and Institutes as lecturers, etc.
Best wishes & have a great career in Pharmacy!
