Do you find yourself the first person to help someone? Your friend is depressed or not feeling well, and you feel it too? You hate to see people in pain?
I was always the one taking care of family members, or trying to help if they were in a pinch.
One day a nurse noticed this trait about me and suggested nursing school. I never looked back. That was 18 years ago.

Hi Jacky, Try before you buy---Best bet is to volunteer in a Senior Center or hospital. You'll see up and close what CNA-- Certified Nursing Assistants do and RN--Registered Nurses do on a day to day basis. Even if you only volunteer a couple hours on the weekend, you will "know". Good luck!
