I have noticed there are a lot of people from Utah asking about being a veterinarian.
The best way to obtain an answer to your question is to go to your local animal hospital or vet clinic and ask them. I bet they would be more than happy and willing to talk to you and give you advice. They can give you great guidance as to what to study in school and what to do and avoid, based on their personal experiences. There may even be opportunities to volunteer at these locations so you can start obtaining experience in this field as well as start making valuable contacts you can use as references.

Have you considered taking some career inventory tests to see if this would be a field you are interested in? Also, explore the qualifications and schooling that is needed to become a Vet as well if you decide to go that route. Also, you should consider seeing if you are able to follow a vet for a week or two to get an idea of what your daily life might be like in that line of work.
