What steps can I do to be a police officer
Ever since I was a kid I've always wanted to be a cop and help people what can I do to become a great Officer #policeofficers

I think that's great that you are motivated to help people. That's very noble and being a police officer is a great way to make a difference.
I am not in the police force nor do I know anyone who is but to me a good starting point would be go to your local police station and ask to get a tour and speak to an officer to learn more about what they do and what their path was like to become an officer.
Police officers are seen as key contributors to the communities that they work in. Being involved in the community through volunteer opportunities would look good on your resume and give you an appreciation for some of the challenges that communities face.

I have a few friends who are police officers. Start with a police ride-along. Call in on an non-emergency phone line and schedule a ride-along (if you're old enough). Connect with the officer and get his advice!
