The key element in risk analysis is to properly identify with the company's worst case scenario. A great movie in 2011 (directed by J.C. Chandor) provided an excellent storyline dealing with risk analysis. Grab a couple Terje Aven books while you're at it.

sorry to rain on the parade with reality... but a key element to risk analysis is asking yourself, "who wants me to do this risk analysis?" and "how honest am i allowed to be with my responses?"
