Hi Kaviya:
Preparing for an entrance exam is done throughout your schooling, meaning that everything you learn during your school years is preparing your for your career. Here are a few ideas that might help you to prepare better for the special exam: 1. It is very important that you have a counselor in college that will help you along in getting the right classes for your major.; 2. Do some volunteer work at a hospital or a doctors office so you have some real experience in the medical field; 3. Take an interest Assessment and a Personality Assessment to make sure that you are going to be right for this career and that you will be happy. They can be found at the Career Center in most colleges;4. Follow or shadow a person in the medical field around for a day or a week, but make sure you ask them before you start to do that; 5. Get some practice medical books that will help you with the medical questions that you might encounter in the exam, and get some tutoring programs that will also help; Start preparing when you are in your first Science class and keep taking more classes to give you the knowledge to be confident when you take the test; 6 Join any kind of club or program that is medical oriented and breath in the knowledge that is given you; 7. A mentor would also be good to have, but he or she needs to be associated well within the medical society.
