Yes, it is actually better for you to take occasional breaks. Just make sure that you get right back into it. Sometimes a break will clear your mind, and you return refreshed!

But people usually take a break when they are stressed. If that is the reason for your break, please take a break. Do not think about anything else. Metal wellness is utmost important than anyone or anything. So just go for it.

The patterns that you need to hold health wise are over the course of months and years. Missing a week every once in a while isn't a big deal, as long as it's not one week that turns into another week off which turns into another week off. It's important to know your own limits when it comes to discipline.
