Will the significant advance in technology/space exploration, mean that the demand of aerospace engineers will grow?
I was wondering since all this technology is rapidly changing will affect the job outlook of aerospace engineers. According to the Bureau of Labor statistics, the job outlook was slower than average. Will this statistic change in the next couple of years? #engineering #technology #job #aerospace #future #outlook

It's always hard to say what the job outlook would be in 5-10 years, as technology and society is always changing. Looking back, I wouldn't have guessed how big some of the current major industries would have grown, but some obviously saw it and planned ahead.
One thing I would think about with aerospace engineers is the growing interest in commercial space travel. It's unknown whether this is a fad or an actual growing trend, but there are a lot of very smart people putting a lot of resources and money behind making spaceflight affordable for people. Given that fact, and the reports of successful test flights, I'd be willing to bet that there's still some room for some growth.
Also, don't forget that your major doesn't have to dictate your career. I have many friends who studied aero/astro engineering, but are now in other fields.

From my perspective demand of more of automation engineer , AI analyst , Robotics , electronics & communication engineer job will increase as countries are still resistant to send humans into space. They will prefer more of Robots to go there and do the initial things instead of risking human lives,
