Hi Ruheena,
I am not sure the exact pay of a teacher. However, I started my career as a Spanish teacher for elementary and middle school in the USA. My second career was with Dell Inc. and one of the roles that I held was a trainer/Coach. Many of the key skillsets of teachings can also be used in the corporate world. It might be worth considering some type of training or Learning & Development (often referred to as L&D) role in a corporation. Depending on what age group and content area you are interested, there are many possibilities. Good luck on your search. Regards, Wendy

As far as India is concerned, you need to get through any bachelors degree and then pursue a professional degree like B.ed by writing an entrance exam called edcet. This is the minimum qualification for a professional career. And as far as pay is concerned, it all depends on your experience and the school you are posted into. High end schools and residential schools do pay satisfactory amount. But as you gain experience, your chances get higher of getting paid more. So in the initial stages, you have to start off with a low pay.
