Is it a good idea to go to a tech school to learn handy skills after graduating from your academic course?
I go to Montclair state, and I am learning things that are based on thinking and answering questions, but this does not override the importance of handy skills like a bit of carpentry or mechanics. Both types of understandings are important, and I have been contemplating on taking such courses after graduating. What worries me is the fall of hands-on work and the increase of desk and mental skills. Why not obtain both? #professor #professional #entrepreneurship #anthropology #non-profit #personal-development

Hi Joshua,
I think that it’s a great idea, Handy skills will surely help you on your daily life , it’s always a great feeling to accomplish handy tasks yourself without the help of a professional , for me it doesn’t really matter if it’s going to have a direct impact on your professional career , because it will surely bring you a lot of self-confidence and make your profile much more versatile ...
Best regards

Hi, I believe you can gain practical experience through an internship at your school. Look for internships that are hands on type of learning.
