In which stream i should select in higher studies to become a Research Chemist?

I want to become a Research Chemist. But, I couldn't know to select my stream in higher studies. Please tell me which stream could i select? #research #chemist

The minimum eligibility prescribed for admission to B.Pharm. course is a pass in higher secondary or equivalent examination with at least 50 per cent marks in biology, mathematics, biotechnology or computer science. The student should also score at least 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry, biology/ mathematics/ biotechnology/ computer science put together.


Students who belong to the socially and economically backward category and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs.4.5 lakh can avail a relaxation of five per cent in the qualifying examination. They need to score only 45 per cent marks in mathematics/ biology/ biotechnology/ computer science and 45 per cent marks for optional subjects put together. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe communities need pass mark in the qualifying examination.


The applicant should have completed 17 years of age. Biology is not a compulsory subject for B.Pharm. admission. Students can choose B.Pharm. degree course or six-year Pharm D. course for higher study. Aspirants should have a scientific bend of mind and have interest in medicine.


Students can choose from two year diploma course (D. Pharm.), four year degree course (B.Pharm.), two year Master's degree course (M.Pharm.), six year integrated doctorate degree programme (Pharm D.), three year Pharm D. course (post Baccalaureate), and Ph.D. courses in pharmacy as part of their higher education options. . Students who have passed their Plus Two are eligible to study D.Pharm., B.Pharm., and Pharm D. courses.


The Pharmacy Council of India is the regulatory body. Candidates should ensure the council's approval of the course before admission. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm. or B. Pharma.) course is a four-year regular undergraduate professional programme offered in several pharmacy colleges.


Students are given comprehensive knowledge on the pharmaceutical industry, production and distribution of drugs, or medicines. Pharmacy is closely related to medical science.
