Hi Cloe
I work at Dell technologies, and we are very aware of a schedule and to be well organized, to be very organized in your mail is very important, you may also prefer to have some control in a agenda (notebook) to write all your pendings , and in the start of day you can mange whta taks most be to that day, if note take note of the deadline and try to deliver you pendings.

I work as a fraud operations senior specialist in a call center. In that specific department for the company I work for, we are open 24/7. I work from 10:45a-7:15p, however I also work until 9:00p some nights. We also have opportunities to choose new hours if they are open. I am being rescheduled to 4:00a-12:30p. I do not have Saturdays and Sundays off, however I do have Tuesday Wednesday. We take calls and investigate with customers to find out if something happening on their bank accounts are fraud or not. I also look through other accounts and attempt to find bad accounts before any fraudulent activity begins.

I work as an Executive Assistant and have a pretty consistent 40 hr work week. There is some flexibility on start/end time and ability to work from home. If there is an event happening, then I do have to shift my day around those hours to support.

Howdy! I work for a technology company that is very employee-focused during this COVID-era, and encourages employees to follow a schedule that works best for them and their situation. Of course, employees need to be mindful of deadlines, meetings, etc., but there is a lot of flexibility for timing.
As an example, I am a mom of two young children, so I drop them off at school, and then I choose to spend a little time walking to increase my mental and physical health before I start working. I generally work through lunch (a personal choice), and then end my day at around 5 to pick up my children and start family time/dinner. As needed, I will sometimes log back online after my children are asleep if I have additional work to complete. I also have several apps (like email and team communications) available on my phone that I can utilize at any point in the day.
It's important to strike a work/life balance that works best for you, but also allows you to be a productive employee.

Making a living as a FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER has been very rewarding for me. The beauty of freelance life is that it looks different for everyone. As your own boss, you get to dictate your schedule, manage your own time, and figure out what works and what doesn’t work for you as an individual. Like most jobs, this profession has its share of challenges like; working with stubborn clients, operating on tight deadlines and doing multiple revisions. I like to start with answering emails, sending invoices and working on proposals to get them out of the way. My goal is to complete 5 billable hours a day, then I reward myself with the rest of the day off. It’s a great self-motivator for me, and I almost never work weekends. Life’s too short for that nonsense. I try to keep one day a week free of any work to avoid burning out. I believe sometimes to take two steps forward, you have to take one step back. Knowing when to stop and rest can keep the creative juices running longer rather than going full steam ahead I think.
Cloe make sure you carve out time for a self care routine. If it's not daily, then weekly. It's important to recharge to keep a work/life ballance.

Hello-- I am in outside sales, so my day in a non-Covid environment is pretty loose and is never "8 to 5". Depends on when I have meetings, appts, etc. However, I do like to stay as routine as possible-- structure is key:
8am-- Check emails, read articles, LinkedIn, prep time
9:30-11:30 a.m. Email/Outreach-- connect with decision makers
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Lunch/Prepare for the afternoon
12:30-2:00 p.m. Email/calls/outreach
2:00-3:30 p.m. Connect with current customers
3:30-4:00 p.m. Prospecting/lead gen
4:00-5:00 p.m. Prep for the next day

Cloe,
Fun question! `I'm a sales manager for a hotel and although day to day varies due to the nature of the business, the core is always the same.
Working a typical Monday thru Friday, 9-5 schedule, I like to use Monday to game plan for the week and make my attack plan. I figure out what my priorities are for the week, and then strategically schedule what I need to do to accomplish each task, and when. Someone once taught me to heavily use my calendar (Outlook) for time blocking, setting deadline reminders, task reminders, etcetera. It was one of the most beneficial habits I've learned and keeps me organized.
If you plan your priorities, your "to do" list doesn't seem so overwhelming because you have a clear outline and what needs to get done and in what order.
Wish you the best and hope that helps!

Hello Cloe,
Working in a techonology company is great and I´d be happy to share a little bit of my day to day. I wake up early to do some stretching and taket it all in to start my day . I check my calendar to see if I have any meetings and in case I need to prepare for them , work on it. I check my pending taks and write a to do list and start checking my email. I start with the most important task and as soon as I finish one I take a break , stand up , do some stretches and then go to the next one. Lunch time is a really important part of my day to day , is importante to take a long break and enjoy your meal , so I just take it easily and not skip it. In case an issue comes up , as a team we reorganize we talk and create a strategy to get everything done . I finish my working hours by checking my calendar one last time and then I shut down my computer to really feel that change of working and resting. Then I can enjoy the afternoon , do some excercise , read a book , enjoy my family , watch a TV series and relax . A balanced life is important . Hope this is helpful .

Hi Cloe
I'm an auditor on a Big 4 accounting firm. I usually start my day by checking my emails to get up to speed with many things. Secondly, I see my agenda for the day for any calls, meetings, trainings that I previously scheduled. Then the rest of the day would be participating on status calls with the team, provide up-front coaching and feedback, review work of more junior staffs, monitor the progress of the engagement, complete daily administrative tasks, perform research for more technical areas and many more... But more importantly I also take some time during the day to stretch, go for a walk in the beach with my dogs, eat and rest for a bit. Balancing job priorities and our well-being is part of most jobs nowaday.

Hi Cloe,
I am an instructional designer. That is a salaried position at my company, so that can be 40 hours or many more depending on the week. I work for a company with offices across the country, so my start and times can vary depending on meetings with people in various time zones. Most of my days include 1 to 2 hours of meetings and the rest of the time I am doing project work. I am either developing a plan for training, creating training elements, or doing post development administrative work. This can be done either on my own or with teammates. The best part of my job is the ability to be creative all day. There is also a lot of problem solving. From time to time, I also act as a trainer so I teach classes virtually. Those days end up longer as training can be up to 8 hours and I need to do work before and after those classes.
I hope that is what you were looking for about my job.

I work usually from 8-9 hours a day and spend an hour or two on my graduate classes. I try to fit some type of exercising for an hour and spend the rest of the time doing household chores and connecting with my family.
