What is the best way to recieve a good reputation, experience and education to become a veterinarian?

I am asking this question because I want to become a veterinarian, but as a high school student, I do not know the best way or requirements to get in to a vet school. #veterinarian #animal-health #veterinary-technician

Hi! So, first you have to take classes in undergrad that helps you to become a vet. Then you apply to graduate school in veterinary medicine.

Here is some information: http://vbs.psu.edu/majors/vbs/steps-to-becoming-a-veterinarian.

Here is an example, on Texas A&M veterinary school website, they list what pre-requisite courses you need to take in undergrad: http://vetmed.tamu.edu/dvm/future/prerequisites.

I would find some veterinary grad schools you like, http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-health-schools/veterinarian-rankin. I would learn more about these grad schools and then look at what the pre requisites are for the undergraduate programs.

Hope that helps :) Also, I would find online some vets in your city, and then ask them if you could interview them about their career!
