Elizabeth’s Answer

The day in the life of an athletic training can be long and hectic depending on the season and the sport's team they are working with. Depending on the level of athletes you are working with, you could report to the gym in the high school or the arena of a professional sports team, but either way you are there for the athletes needing to be taped, stretched, and evaluated before games or practices. You may be asked to be on the field during a sporting event and will have to jump into action if there is an injury or spend time answering emails and phone calls from doctors, athletes, parents, and coaches.
After games, you will need to be available for more treatments and evaluations which can run into the evening.
