HI! if you are interested in a career involving the environment I would have suggested you take combinations of Biology, Geography, and ESS (Environmental Systems and Societies). There are many directions of careers you could take with your chosen ib subjects. However, if you are worried that you won't be able to apply for the career you want to study, don't worry. For the most part, college programs always offer 101 classes in freshmen year, so it does not always require you to take certain subjects beforehand. However, there are some programs you should look into that might. One example would be engineering. Usually, it would require you to have a subject convo of Math Analysis, Physics, and even Chemistry. Just make sure that the college you go to, gives you more details on the requirements.

For students taking the IB, you are advised to take at least two, and ideally three, of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics at Higher Level. The most natural pairings are Biology and Chemistry, Chemistry and Physics, and Mathematics and Physics.
