Vinay’s Answer

It depends on what you want to do eventually. If you are looking for software programming work opportunities. Then you should pick computer language ( C, C++ or Java) and join a course to learn it. This will give you basic exposure to computer programming. You can explore free course on youtube or on Udemy as well. Once this courses are done, you can plan to learn web development etc. There are so many things to learn but this should be good starting point. Hope this helps.

If you were in the United States I'd recommend looking at your local community college to see what classes they have. Not only is it cheap, but it would only be a few months to see if you like it. That is exactly how I got started. I then went on to a four year school to finish the degree.

I don't know if there is an equivalent in Ghana, but there are also online courses you can take, some of which are free.

Some example classes would be:

- Intro to Java or Python programming.
- Into to Web design with Javascript, PHP or Node.js
- Intro to relational databases

Swapnil’s Answer

Start with getting familiar with the basics of computer programming!
Start with what is computer and how to talk with it, this does sound like a stupid thing but has a lot of depth to it! its the basis of everything we do and why we do it.
Computer programs can be desktop applications, web applications or a specific requirement that needs to be fulfilled with the help of computers and a lot more other types and definitions. Please do go through the options and then follow the path to a goal.
For a beginner, Python as a programming language do sounds a lot suitable and it has a variety of applications to work with. Do use YouTubes free help and make sure to gather information on same topic from different sources to gain better understanding.
