Wael’s Answer

There are too many variables to your questions. For example, it depends on the country, university, accommodations, activities, and the list goes on. Having said that, my personal experience, studying abroad, was all supported by a scholarship.

I recommend you sit down to talk with a guidance counselor or if your school has an office that manages studying abroad, that would be a great resource. There are many different variables that go into studying abroad and you will have to look into the options and ask your questions to the individuals that run the programs at your specific school.

In my experience, if you are looking to study abroad at a school your school partners with, the tuition and room and board will be the same as you currently pay, however, you are responsible for additional costs, such as traveling and visas. But, if your school doesn't have a partnership, you may have to pay increased tuition amounts.

Susan’s Answer

The cost to study abroad is different for each course. So first decide what course and which college you want to complete the course and then chose a counselor who can guide you with this.

Dr. Kelly’s Answer

Like the others say, there are a lot of factors. As far as the base tuition went, every time I was offered this option as a masters-seeking student, the school charged the courses on international locations similar to how they would if you were taking credits at "home". Example if you agreed to or were required to take nine graduate credits, they would multiply the base tuition rate and tack on international student "fees". The school's business department was very good at showing a breakdown of charges beforehand! As a result, this could be paid in similar fashions to normal tuition. Some do scholarships, some do loans, other have charities that finance. Other expenses like food, cost of housing, transportation or otherwise is regional. Also remember flights, visa fees, etc. If you give us a specific school and degree level/major, we might be able to better guide you.
