Hello Aira !
The term "blogging" refers to the writing, photography, and other media that is self published. Blogging is a way for people to express their own thoughts on an online platform and spread the word of whatever they would like to preach. It is also a great opportunity to display what you are working on and even network. Blogs can be on the more lax end and just write about your daily life or you can focus on more personal topics. By gaining followers to your blog you can interact and create an bigger audience for yourself

The term "vlogging" is similar to blogging however it is now translated to the video format. People who vlog can document their daily life to their audience on social media platforms such as youtube or instagram. Vloggers have been on the rise as of recent and can be a great business opportunity and something just to do for fun !

I hope this helps you out :)

Bryson’s Answer

Hey Aira!
Blogging is "writing, photography, and other media that's self-published online. Blogging started as an opportunity for individuals to write diary-style entries, but it has since been incorporated into websites for many businesses. The hallmarks of blogging include frequent updates, informal language, and opportunities for readers to engage and start a conversation.

Vlogging is "A video blog or video log, sometimes shortened to vlog, is a form of blog for which the medium is video, and is a form of web television. Vlog entries often combine embedded video (or a video link) with supporting text, images, and other metadata. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts. Vlog category is popular on the video-sharing platform YouTube."

Basically, vlogging is a form of blogging, but focuses on the video aspect.

I hope this helps!

Bret’s Answer

Blogging involves expressing your ideas through written words, while vlogging is the practice of sharing messages via video. In vlogging, you typically speak directly to a camera, allowing viewers to see your emotions.

Hi Aria,
VLogging is using video to comment or discuss specific topics like entertainment, celebrities, education or whatever you decide to discuss. Blogging is writing to discuss specific topics like the above examples.
