Figuring out which major will help narrow down your options for a business degree, but I would recommend focusing on affordability since there isn't a lot to be gained from attending a more expensive school for business. Most business schools have very similar class offerings and you'll gain more from networking well than from a specific choice in business school.

As you live in MA, consider in-state schools in the University of Massachusetts system (https://www.isenberg.umass.edu/) as well as schools such as Boston University, Boston College or Babson - unless, you aim for Harvard or MIT.

Hi Jonathan, It all depends on the business major or discipline. University of Arizona, Tucson - Eller School has solid programs and especially MIS - Management Information Systems. It depends on what your career aspiration is and what you plan to pursue.

Hi Johnathan - If you have a specific major or area of study in mind for college, you might start by researching through the College Board website and look for the Big Future section of the website. It features a huge database with many different search filter options including major (in your case, business), location, size, etc. You can finetune the search depending on your preferences. You may find as you do more research that specific areas of business appeal to you and you can always go back and adjust your search accordingly. Also - two colleges focused on business in Massachusetts that are not too far from you include Babson College and Bentley College. You might check out their websites and see what interests you. Please ask your college guidance counselor for suggestions, and a plain old Google search can be helpful too. Best of luck!
