What you will learn with a business degree is translatable to any career you choose. Technical skills will take you where you want to go in business, but a foundational business degree is a great place to start. It may sound cliché, but the education matters more than the actual degree does to some extent. Work ethic and critical thinking skills can take you anywhere you want to go.
Speak with a counselor about the different types of business degrees available, and make a decision on where you want to start. You can always pivot later if needed, but the important part is to get it started.

There is a lot you can do with a business major degree. There are many areas of employment such as pharmaceutical companies, banks, brokerage houses, colleges/universities, consulting firms and many government agencies such as Federal Trade Commission, National Credit Union Administration and many more.

I think businesses need well rounded, strong thinkers, who can think critically about whatever situation they're in. Plus they need good writers and communicators and more. I'd suggest a liberal arts education that could take you all sorts of directions, including business. The more technology evolves the more businesses will need ethical leaders who can add the heart and soul to what technology produces.
Hi Jason, keeping options is good advice but what are career options for students who are already business majors? I think that answer would directly answer the student's question
