Simeon’s Answer

My education went well enough, but I wish they had put more of an emphasis on letting us know what we were supposed to do with our degrees after college. They essentially just toss you out to fend for yourself once you have gotten a degree. Institutions need to take more responsibility for the expectations they give students about what they can do with their degree. A lot of it ends up being trial and error when you're on your own.

Jessica’s Answer

The skills your learn in those earlier years of education can be really helpful (how to study, are to keep track of deadlines, how to have conversations with authority figures like teachers, principals and coaches, etc.). Each level of education expects more from you (junior high --> high school --> undergrad --> grad school) and builds off the skills you learned. I wouldn't be where I am today without my education, so to me it's worth working hard in the beginning so you can get a job/start a business that allows you to have the lifestyle you want when you get older. I know high school can be tough, but try to look at it as a good investment for future Ejay, they will thank you!

Hope this helps!
