Tactics that engage and create mindshare opportunity with your target customer. There is so much fragmentation and strain on time, customers need to be engaged to really be open to an advertising/ marketing message (especially more complex or high consideration ones).
Channel mix and context are also very important, ensuring your marketing message resonates in context of the user environment.
When you look at media usage/ platform usage you will lead to a large opportunity in mobile advertising / marketing. As this is where the more time is spent and where the most actions are taken. The key is how to engage in-app or mobile web to get your marketing message across. Format of the message is also extremely important to ensure you provide optimal opportunity to capture attention in less then a “thumb flick”.

Hi Azaria,
I recommend you read a bit about "full funnel" marketing here: https://www.mckinsey.com/business-functions/marketing-and-sales/our-insights/why-every-business-needs-a-full-funnel-marketing-strategy
Essentially, there is no one marketing strategy that will move the needle for a business. It is all about ensuring your brand is present across multiple touchpoints to consistently educate the consumer on your brand, and ultimately move them down the funnel. Touchpoints can take place across several channels -- Instagram, Connected TV, Google, Snapchat & Pinterest are a few off the top of my head.
Community is another key aspect to marketing - ensuring you are building loyalty and working with influencers to voice their thoughts about a brand will have a strong impact if their audience is highly engaged.

Networking and social media are big these days. Talk to people and ask them for who they think you should talk to . In the professional world, www.LinkedIn.com is a good place to analyze people networks and potentially market there.

Hi Azaria,
It looks like you have already received some great advice and that someone touched on this, but it is really important that your "brand" and that your "company's brand" are aligned. That means your social media is aligned across all platforms and that your thought leadership and your company's brand are authentic which means understanding the values that are important to you and your company. You want to ensure that you are educating your subscribers/end users with your content, that your marketing messaging is personalized, use the data you have to drive your creative, keep your content updated, use guest bloggers or hosts (depending on the platform and content)! Finally, 2020 and 2021 are all about video, so use more!!!
Good Luck!

Hey Azaria,
I found this article on https://marketbusinessnews.com/financial-glossary/what-are-marketing-tactics-definition-and-examples/ that has some good tactics:
Sending emails to existing customers and targeted consumers.
Reaching customers and prospects through social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. A prospect is a person who I think could well turn into a customer.
Exhibiting in trade shows. Attending trade shows.
Grass-roots efforts such as speaking at industry association events or the chamber of commerce.
Placing adverts on billboards, TV, radio, online, or in print.
Publish targeted articles. A well-written article can bring in many leads. Bear in mind, however, that articles take much longer to bear fruit than, for example, adverts.
Of course, SOCIAL MEDIA.
Club and Association Memberships can introduce several marketing tactics into your networking activities. You can have, for example, special business cards that you hand out at different functions. There might be a message on the business card inviting the reader to visit a specific page on the company’s website.

Having a channel that creates content and creates dialogue can be a great way to build hype around a product or service, especially if you can get a group of sponsors to endorse your product/channel and point people in your direction.
Thank you!
