#game development

Thank you comment icon To become a game developer/programmer, you would need to have a good foundation in programming in languages like C++/C# and also have learnt one or more of the game engines out there like Unreal or Unity. Akhilesh

Game development is really still in it's infancy. You really want to decide which part of the industry you want to be on. The side that comes up with the ideas of the game itself, or the side of the industry that writes the language of the game. Of course you can do both. But I would suggest to check out a technical industry. Maybe ITT tech or Devry, somewhere like that. There are many. Talk to a counselor at one of those type schools and they can give you much more in depth answers for this. But if I were you, I would start out with, do I want to write the program, or do I want to come up with the ideas for the game or both. Good luck. I hope I get to play your games!
