The "best" for you would be the company that closest fits your passions, interests and goals and provide the best cultural fit for you. The "best" for you almost certainly will be different than the best for me. Asking which company is best is a bit like asking "which is the best combination of pizza toppings?"

You might try checking out a site like BioSpace (https://www.biospace.com/news/career-advice/ ) to begin exploring the sectors. Are you interested in medical devices (e.g., prosthetics, pumps, MRI or other imaging devices) or more biological engineering to create the next generation of new medicines? Maybe you would like to develop a new COVID vaccine using mRNA technology. Perhaps you could be the one to discover how to make more of it using new biomanufacturing. technology.

Monster estimates the Bay Area alone is home to 1,400 biotech companies that employ some 140,000 people (https://www.monster.com/career-advice/article/healthcare-9-locations-for-biotech-jobs-0916 ). That means there are lots of jobs and a wide variety of opportunities for you to explore right in your own backyard! The field is growing and changing, so the company you end up joining in a few years many not even exist yet today.
