The great courses plus, it is an online resource that gives you the best PhD in the world per topic. Only thing better is to go to Australia and learn from the Irwins. Especially Bindi. She actually just released a book that took her five years to make on the topic you are asking about
Hi Nicholas, this doesn't answer the student's question. Do you have any colleges you would recommend for zoology?

I would recommend searching for top animal science programs in undergraduate colleges. Not all colleges have an animal science or zoology major.

Howdy Allie,
I'm a wildlife biologist - so specific to your "wildlife". The following are universities that I have experience with as they are generally in and around the region where I've spent most of my career. Univesity of Montana, Montana State, University of Idaho, Oregon State, and Washington State University. And University of Wisconsin Stevens Point is where I did my undergrad, and I thought it was a good place to launch my career. Of course you can spring board from a university to any region of the US or world, but I think for instance if you are interested in western systems and species it helps to do your education there as they in part are region centric and you have the chance to start building your network there. Of course if you are interested in NE systems and species you may want to go to a university there, but I'm only distally familiar with some there.
The Wildlife Society is the professional society for wildlife biologists and they have a list of universities here https://wildlife.org/next-generation/career-development/where-to-get-your-degree/
You can go to individual univesity/college websites and look of the individual professors to see what kind of work they are involved in.
Good luck out there!
