Being an Architect the hardest part is customer facing and solution design. As an Architect you need to be strong in subject (Subject Mater Expert - SME).

Solution Design : For a better product we need to design the robust solution for stability and performance etc
Customer Facing: This is the major aspect for an architect role to handle the customers and customer satisfaction

Dean’s Answer

Gathering requirements, solution design and managing client relationship. Requirements gathering takes time and in some cases, if not done properly can make or break your solution. Typically how architects get around this issue is by using software methodologies to perfect the requirement, design and solution. Some methodologies are Agile, Waterfall, Lean, etc (see here for more context: https://www.upwork.com/resources/most-common-software-development-methodologies?vt_cmp=11384804789&vt_adg=113089129402&vt_src=google&vt_kw=&vt_device=c&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=11384804789&utm_medium=paidsearch&gclid=CjwKCAjw9MuCBhBUEiwAbDZ-7ujmI4vBr7zVLMklpfMjbcIl2LvX-_KXVz0QeN-mM7KnWpwKcounBBoC8aAQAvD_BwE). These methodologies, in addition, allows an architect to manage customer expectation and satisfaction by keeping the client involved and engaged in the process.

Solution Design portion requires that you're a subject area master. This is more on the technical side and involves infrastructure, security, design, etc.
