Is environmental science a good elective to prepare someone for a marine biology major in college?

This is what i am planning to do, but I don't know if it is the best option. To me it is. #classes

Sure it is! Marine Biology is a very broad major that will definitely involve environmental science. You are confident that it will be helpful to your learning and development, so I would go for it. I would also keep in mind that Marine Bio will also require fundamental science and math classes (make sure to take those too!).

Environmental science would tie to marine biology. Poor environmental practices have significant impacts on marine life (e.g. plastics). Where you have a choice in research papers, you can directly tie the environmental and marine biology fields.
