but my 2 cents is that you can become an Engineer by studying hard, but being successful involves much more than studying, your basics need to be very strong and logical thinking with it.. anyone can become an engineer but to stay on top, you need to be class apart :)

Peter’s Answer

Hello, Doris:

All engineering requires good math skills, so take 4 years of math while you are in high school. Aeronautics involves physics, so take a high school physics course, as well. There are a number of good Aeronautics colleges. The Aeronautics and Astrophysics Dept. at the University of Washington (my Alma Mater) is an excellent one. Plus Seattle area is home to Boeing, the largest plane company in the World.

Good Luck, Pete Sturtevant
