Hi Amanda
It's probably best to first determine which type of pilot you would like to shadow - fixed wing or helicopter? military or civilian? Airline or private? There may be multiple flying schools around South Africa that have introduction flights and can walk you through the various ground school requirements. The local airport in your area may be a good place to look for a flying school that may be able to assist.
