What classes would you recommend to take for becoming a criminal justice and law enforcement teacher?
I am an 8th grader and I am doing research on different jobs that I am interested in. #teacher

I would recommend history, government and legal classes to help you prepare for a career in criminal justice and law enforcement teaching. I know at the college level, you can enroll in classes that are based in criminal justice. From a high school perspective, you might be able to learn more about criminal justice and law enforcement from history and government classes. Maybe you can visit a police station to ask questions about what classes could prepare for a career in law enforcement.

It really depends on what level you want to teach. If you want to teach at the middle school or high school level, you will need to go through the accreditation process in your state to teach at that level. You would probably major in social studies or criminal justice (if possible) and get a teaching license.
If your preference is to teach at the college level, I'm attaching a website here that has all the information needed.
