Hi, great question...I have worked in several positions in public administration---as a Corrections Officer, Program Specialist and a Career Coach. Working in public administration is rewarding because you get to help people directly and you usually work for an agency that is in helps and serves people. I have worked for businesses and corporations as well, I enjoyed my jobs but sometimes not knowing if what I was doing really helped anyone was frustrating.
