Hello Juana, great question!
I just graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. of Industrial & Systems Engineering. Within Industrial Engineering, there are different concentrations including operations research, manufacturing, management, and ergonomics. Industrial engineers can work in many areas such as information systems, banks, airlines, hospitals and more. The opportunities are endless! I now work with a consulting firm!

Hi Juana! Industrial engineers can work in a variety of fields, both in and out of the actual engineering industry. Niki above me did a great job outlining engineering specific jobs. I actually have two friends that just graduated from undergrad with industrial engineering degrees, like Niki, and both of them actually went into consulting as well! It can lead to a very diverse career path!
