Was it hard getting exposed into the entrepreneur world and making your own label for yourself?
Entrepreneurship is a big step and you need a lot of connections to achieve it! My cousin actually got into that field by connections because it isn't easy. #entrepreneurship #social #networking #entertainment #entrepreneur #field #career-goals #achieve

Becoming an entrepreneur is a major task and a great responsibility Britney. It is very achievable, and knowing the right people most certainly help in your progress and success. The area or field you are trying to tap into makes a a big difference in how to represent and expose yourself. Across all business models, social media is the best and most effective way to get your name out there. You need to brand yourself or your company and be active in social media. If people hear your name and/or business enough....they will become curious. No matter what the business is, make it part of your daily task to attend to social media for a few minutes. I hope this helps some. Good luck to you if your are venturing out into this crazy world!!

Hello Britney,
I'm smack at the beginning of putting my own new business and work out into the world, for a late in life career change. I can vouch for the above comments being absolutely relevant to being an entrepreneur in today's market. It is HARD, yes. You have to be constantly thinking about promoting yourself, and actively engaging in all that it involves, as well. The more connections you have, the better, and social media participation is essential. I am not currently doing enough of it, and have been just "getting my feet wet" so far, as being older, it is all new to me. I'm learning as I go along, but my marketing classes in school were key in preparing for this phase.
Even with all of the extra effort that is needed to facilitate working for yourself, it can be far more rewarding, too. It depends on the type of person you are. If you're not sure if life as an entrepreneur is the best path for you, it would be helpful to take a few personality assessment tests. When you know your own strengths, weaknesses, and preferences, it's far easier to make plans for your future. "Know Thyself" is one of the most ancient wisdom's.
Another thing of deep importance, and worthy of huge consideration, is determining what you will be doing for business. This can make every difference in the level of difficulty, both personally and in a competitive market. You are certainly on the right track, by not being afraid to ask difficult questions. You will be far more prepared for the choices you make. Best wishes for successful discoveries!

Persistence and determination. Constant presence on social media. Create a database for all the people you come in contact with. Stay in touch with them periodically. Send flyers and post cards yearly. I hope this help.
