Raven’s Answer

As a teacher in the state of New Jersey . I needed a bachelors degree in education. I also needed to make sure my education aligned with NJ department of Education prerequisites in order to become certified. You can also do the alternative route which allowed me to have a bachelors in Psychology and take post grad courses to obtain a teaching certification. After obtaining my degree in psychology, I obtained a masters in school counseling , this gave me time in a school system teaching and obtaining a masters .
