I majored in environmental sciences and did research on how soil quality affected human biology and health in South Africa. It was very cool. The biology of coral reefs is also very interesting, and you could become a marine biologist. More than half the world's population lives within 100 miles of a coastline and many depend on the economic benefits of reefs, which are being damaged by climate change. Should be an interesting cross of animal biology, environmental science, and human society.
If it's really biology that interests you - what about a PhD in medicine or pharmaceutical research for life saving solutions?
Take classes across biology, environmental science, chemistry, and then decide what you really love or what cross disciplinary studies you want to pursue. And get involved in research your first year of college to see if it's what you really love. I thought research was awesome...until I got fed up by junior year and I'm so glad I didn't go into a PhD research program.

What about a science journalist? Most people have very limited literacy in science, and in addition to being involved in the science community, you would also get a chance to act as a liaison between scientists and the general public. There are decidedly not enough people doing this! The best part about this is that it gives you a chance to study biology and other science disciplines that interest you and along the way you might find something that you're really truly passionate about.

Become an environmental biologist!
Or, if you care more about writing than you do about research, you can become an environmental science writer/reporter.
