I know this is an old question, but I hope you found a way to get involved in a campaign! If you're still interested, there are a lot of opportunities to get involved, especially in local campaigns that are a bit smaller but closer to you where you can learn a lot. Look up your local officials - city council, county commissioner, mayor. See if they have a campaign website and contact information. If you want to go bigger, U.S. Senate campaigns for 2018 are already up and running - depending on your state, you can start there and ask if they need volunteers. I got my start volunteering on campaigns! I made signs, answered the phones, filled in bubble sheets for calls, walked in parades, and more. By the time I moved to DC to become a lobbyist, I had worked on 12 campaigns, including some paid positions! Now's a great time to get involved and learn a lot. Who knows, maybe it'll help you learn how to run your own campaign someday when you're older!
