What to expect in the Pharmacy field?
I'm a freshman at St Johns university majoring in pharmacy. In the future I hope to become a pharmacist in a hospital setting. #medicine

I would say that one thing they won't tell you is how much administrative work is involved working as a pharmacist in a big chain retail store so going the hospital route is probably for the best.

Hi Morgan!
I know a few pharmacists. And I've heard more than one say they prefer the hospital setting over working in a pharmacy dealing with the public. I'm sure there are pros and cons to both. I know that both are very rewarding!! The insurance, paperwork and red tape being the biggest con in the public pharmacy setting.
Good luck!
