You may hear a lot of people talking about how they make money from stock market. You may firstly understand the differences between investment and speculation.
Investment is a purchase of an asset. The asset can be a stock, property, etc. The value of the asset may grow or drop. However, you would hold the asset for long term. Speculation is generally a short-term type of investing, which comes with a great degree of risk.
Be a wise investor, they would do research of the stock to analysis the current status and future propose of the stock, the industry, market conditions, etc. before making decision. There is a lot of knowledge and skill to learn on investment.
I would suggest you to acquire more knowledge in finance before making your investment decision. Please bear in mind that the prices of a stock may rise or drop.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Before entering into the share market, as Rebecca said, you first must understand the differences between investment and speculation.
Speculation - i.e. short-term/intra day trading is very risky and can wipe out all the capital.
Investment - (i.e. mostly long-term investing) in GOOD stocks (in multiple diversified sector's shares, not a single share ) and holding minimum of 7 years can give good returns.
However, investing is Boring and need lot of Study and Patience, but very rewarding in the long term.
If you want to speculate, there are more chances of loosing all the money and then you might leave share market forever.
So I would advise first observe and learn for some time and then only start investing.
Regarding how to buy/sell shares, you have to first open demat and trading account. And wherever you open these accounts, they might have some training on how to buy/sell shares.
Also there are tons of youtube channels on this topic, where you can learn more.
Never buy sell any stock unless you study the company, understand the business, etc. where you want to invest.
