Look on campus! Campus jobs are super understanding of student schedules. Also, in this day, I would look at online work, A lot of these jobs are during odd hours, perfect for students.

Greetings from Canada. I can't say I know what the job market is like in South Africa, but I do have a few thoughts about how to approach looking for a part time job, which I hope will apply. Of course, looking for job postings either online or in person and applying for roles is key, but I would also try to reach out to your network to ask if anyone knows of job openings. Word of mouth/social media can be very effective so let everyone know that you're looking - friends, teachers, parents, you name it. Ideally, be open to doing any type of part time job as that will broaden the market for you. Good luck!

I would definitely reach out to your campus recruiting and jobs. You can also look on sites like handshake for paid internships while I’m school. I’m not sure about the college intern websites in South Africa but in the US we use Handshake.

Part-time positions can be found on campus or through your campus programs team. Outside of university jobs, I would also suggest searching for contract/co-op/internship opportunities during the school year to enhance your skillset for graduation.
