Marissa’s Answer

Hi Mariangeliz - in addition to those mentioned, you could also check out Bentley and Bryant. Babson, Bentley, and Bryant are known in New England as The 3 B's as they are smaller sized schools than BU, BC, and MIT, but The 3 B's are all focused specifically on providing students with Business degrees. You could also check out UMASS as they offer a variety of courses across their locations, and the Business Program at UMASS Amherst is well known.

Marissa recommends the following next steps:

Carla’s Answer

Hi Mariangeliz - when I was considering business schools I looked at Northeastern, Babson, Bentley, Bryant and Fairfield. I ended up going to Bentley for undergraduate and Fairfield for graduate school. I had very positive experiences at them both. All of the schools I mentioned are relatively small except for Northeastern so if your preference is for a larger institution perhaps add UCONN, UMass and Boston University to the list!

David’s Answer

A great school to investigate for business curriculum in New England is UMass Amherst. The state's flagship school has increased in business school rankings, both for overall and public universities, in each of the past 6 years.

The Isenberg School of Management (https://www.isenberg.umass.edu/) has top-ranked programs in Sport Management and Accounting, and highly rated programs for Management, Marketing, Hospitality & Tourism, Operations & Information Management, and Finance.

A huge positive for UMass is that the in-state (and in New England) resident tuition is extremely cheap compared to some of the other business schools in the area (BC, BU, Northeastern, Bentley, Babson, etc), while boasting similar (or better!) rankings for programs.
