In any area of Social Work it is really important that your LONG TERM GOAL is to help those in need. It is so important to not let the work get you down. It's a very hard field that can take a toll and too often social workers get burnt out and lose focus on why they chose this profession. Take care of yourself so that you can provide the best service to the clients that you serve.
