Get involved during your years in college so that you don't graduate without feeling like you have a strong sense of direction. Participate in internships and get involved in organizations that are focused around your area of study so that you can find out what you like and what you don't like! My best advice is to make the most of your time by going above and beyond your coursework so that you graduate feeling more confident about how you really want to use your degree.

Hi! College is such a great time to be curious and find what potential path you may want to take for your career. Take classes that you find interesting, and make friends in different social circles, clubs, and who enjoy hobbies you've been wanting to try - you never know who you will meet and what you will learn, and it could help guide your path for the next few years.
Also, take advantage of resources - college career advisors, resume reviews, etc
Finally - make sure you get flip flops for dorm showers!

Hi Kayse!
One of the biggest suggestions would be planning. Think about what you like to do now and what you don't like to do. Picture yourself, can you see yourself working in a career, what kind of career? Its important to have these goals/visions, because there will be times in college where you will question your goals, having a vision can help you push through!

I would suggest looking into your schools Career Counseling center or any other resources your school has for your future. Continue studying your favorite interests and focus on what you like to do. If your school has a counseling center, they should be able to tie it in for you and you might find yourself in an industry you didn't think to join. Continue to push yourself into internships to help you gain some real world experience.
