I am not really good in math and science so I know it will be hard to major in something that includes a lot of math and science. I love to talk about problems in society , voice my opinions and feelings to people, and give advice . I also love to debate on interesting topics that has to do with society. Hey Jazmyne!

Not to worry. We don't want everyone to be good at math and sciences because that isn't the sole discipline that makes this world run the way it is. I think you have a lot of options considering your interests. You may want to research more on careers such as being a journalist (and just within this one option there are many different types of journalists), a column writer, a newspaper reporter, an anthropologist, a media relations manager, work in city counsel, an activist of some sort etc.

Do some research on a search engine!
And within those searches you'll find more about what the job consists of, maybe the demand, degrees required, pay etc.

Point is there are lots of options!
You can always talk to a college counselor to see if for example after you complete your first year of college are you able to transfer some applicable credits and switch to another major in case you realize your skills are better suited elsewhere.

It is never a clear cut decision and once you have made your decision it doesn't mean that you cannot change your mind later on. You are never doomed. Of course you don't want to be switching from one degree to another constantly, but if you find that there are more costs than benefits of being in the major you are at the time don't hesitate to switch majors. It is not a big deal if you end up having to go to school one extra year to fulfill all the requirements of your program because you decided to switch majors. You are young and it will pay off in the end!
I know people that have done 3 years in sciences and then decided they didn't want to do sciences because they couldn't do well, they didn't see a career in it they liked, they simply realized sciences is not for them. It's never too early, but it's better to make the switch sooner the latter if it will benefit you.

All the best!

Hello Jazmyne, I saw you have more questions. Great! That means you want to make the right decisions upon graduating. Applause. I too enjoy what you wrote in your question. I love to express, debate, and are strong in my beliefs. I suggest political science, for debate, social work, for helping others, or human service major, or you want to research fields that are hiring first to make sure you can get a job upon graduating. A police officer are always good or highway patrol, sheriff, military, these are quick programs that have pretty good pay always hiring. Go for Criminal Justice always hiring now. We need people in that field. Or work at the police department. A 911 operator, always hiring too. These are all great fields that are quick if you want to start working and do not require a large amount of math. Simple math. So you would be fine. Good luck I hope that helped you out more.
