How do you monitor learning and student growth?

#student # #student-development

Thank you comment icon There are a lot of ways to monitor both individual and group learning. Are you able to be a little more specific as to what kind of learning you're referring to and how many students you're trying to monitor simultaneously? Thanks in advance. Watson Worthy

Vinoth’s Answer

Test the student at each level of improvement. For example, if it is for swimming classes, test whether the student has mastered or showing signs of improvement. If done, mark it as complete and then move on to the next. Having learning schedules and completion status will always help out.

2. After teaching something have the student do assignments to apply what was just taught.
3. Do quizzes to test the knowledge as the learning continues.
4. Final exam

Kruti’s Answer

Students use digital tools to regularly collect evidence, reflect on their progress, and adjust their plan for meeting their goals. In tracking their own progress, learners take ownership of that progress and develop the skills to act with agency in the classroom.
