Brandon’s Answer

For early childhood education can vary depending on what you want to do. There are multiple levels that you can try to do for early childhood education. Associate's degree in early childhood education can take up to 2 years to complete. If you go for the Associate's degree route, you are able to get into entry level jobs. A bachelor degree can allow you to advance quicker than in a associate's degree with higher pay. Within the higher forms of educations there is the master's in education with a focus more on early childhood learning that can take 1-3 years and with your level of expertise you can expand to other fields beyond only teaching children.

Rebecca’s Answer

I'm not in education, but many of my college friends were. I believe that you typically can start teaching with a bachelor's degree, and then you'll have to get a master's degree. A traditional bachelor's degree can be completed in 4 years, but this can be shorter or longer depending on your personal needs and program requirements. A master's degree can be completed in 1-2 years typically, depending on the program you complete. Some schools have programs that allow you to go straight from the bachelor's program to a master's program.
